Do not use the Rambler® Bottle Chug Cap with carbonated beverages or for storage of food or perishables. The Chug Cap spout is not intended to be used with hot beverages. BUT...If you fill a Rambler with hot beverages, you can remove the spout and drink directly from the bottle. I have tested this with hot tea, and it works fine.
